  Avid Import QT Funky Color – please help

  Please help…

  THE PROBLEM: After importing a Quicktime movie into Avid, the file aquires a greenish hue. All other attributes are fine (video looks crisp, motion graphics clean.) The only problem is that the entire file looks like there is a light green matte placed over it.

  >>> The Quicktime was created from a multi-layer After Effects HAVING Several nested (some 3D) comps including video layers, all imported with 740×486, NTSC DV.

  >>> This was exported from AE with no compression
  >>> The resulting Quicktime looks perfect (colors, animation, video)

  >>>> My Avid (Xpress) import settings are RGG, 601, lower filed first, ignore alpha (there is non alpha)

  WHERE IS THE GREEN COMING FROM?
