Avid HD
I’m an discreet edit* user and need an HD solution that has a great character generator, like Inscriber, and has the real-time horse power like edit*. Any recommendatons on hardware accelerated AVID’s in the 25-50K range? Prefer Windows, but Mac OK.

I know of no Avid solution in that price range that can gracefully do what you describe.
DS Nitrus is the closest thing and it’s way outta that budget. I’m thinkin it does these things because the code was purchased by Avid, not written.
FCP can out of the box, tho.

Have you looked into the AVID Media Composer Adrenaline HD? It’s gonna be in the top-end of your budget and maybe a little over…
