Avid Export ridiculously dark in AE
Hi Everyone,
I need to do one little shot re-adjustment for a music video I’m cutting, it’s a 720p project, so I’m working in DNxHD 90 in Avid MC. I recently upgraded to AE CS5, and have never had this problem in CS3. Everytime I import into AE, it makes my footage really really dark. I’ve searched the forums and tried some suggested methods, but I’m really at a loss here. Anyone have this issue before?

What are your export settings in MC, and import settings in AE?

I’ve had things happen the other way (getting a bit blown out). I’ve found that it is almost always an issue with gamma correction on the import or export for the media. If you open the file in another programme doesn it have the same problem?
