AVID DNx 36
Hey Gang,
I have been checking out different project settings on our MC Composer 2.5 but cannot find a setup that will let me work at DNx 36.
Can anybody point me in the right direction. I have a client who wants to offline in SD then finish in HD & I don’t think that it’s neccessary, I just want to stay HD all the way through.any help muchly appreciated.

DNxHD36 appears to only be available in Project Settings:
1080p 23.976
1080p 24

Hey Michael,
thanks…I was checking on my Media composer(software only 2.5) and it doesn’t show up…but on the Media Composer Adrenaline 2.7 it shows up…I’m starting to think it was a software difference.
I will continue the search on that.

Yup. Not yet a feature in 2.5. If you have it in 2.7 then that is where it first showed up as it is not in 2.6 either.

Of course, that makes sense. Does anyone know when DNx 36 became an option in the Express Pro line?

Xpress Pro had limited resolutions. Since it was introduced in MC 2.7, it would have been introduced in 5.7 in Xpress Pro, if it’s an option at all.
