    Has anyone else had problems installing latest codec pack 2.3 on w7 pro system? I click to install as administrator and my system locks up and I end up having to do hard reboot.

    Turns out Panda Internet Security 2010 was causing the problem. Uninstalled and had no issues with avid codec install.
