  • Avid Audio Keyframes are ‘locked’.

Posted by Holly Mcnamara on June 4, 2010 at 1:06 am

I’m working in Media Composer, and I’ve been using audio key-frames to roughly mix my audio.

However, after restarting my computer, my key-frames appear to be ‘locked’, and everytime I try to move one of them, it moves all of the key-frames on the audio track at the same time.

Have I accidentally pressed a button which would make the key-frames lock together?

    Please help me out.

    Thanks!

You have an in/out point set around the whole sequence?

If you have an In and an Out marked, and the track enabled, then all the marked keyframes move together. Is it that?
If not, is the same happening in other projects?
Try making a new project and copying the timeline into that, does the same thing happen?

Got to be that an in/out is set surely.

Don’t worry Holly, at 2.06am you’re allowed to have a moment. I’ve had plenty even during the day!
