  Avid and Luster

  Hello everyone,
  I am editing a documentary, filmed on 7D. I imported the footage on Avid MC 2.7.2 as DnX120. We need to do the color grading on Luster. The colorist is asking for TARGA image seq from Avid, but he is saying that it will not come out in good quality. He wants the original H.264 files to change to TARGA and then I have to match frames on my timeline.
  Is there any other way to do this?
  How much of a bad quality is TARGA exported from Avid?
  Is there any difference in exporting a Targa seq directly from Avid and exporting a quicktime reference of the Avid seq and then exporting a Targa seq from After Effects?
