  AVID After Effect EMP Install issues

  I’m trying to install Avid After Effects EMP on a MC5.5 system but I keep getting the “Error: 2343 The specified path is empty”. Before trying the install I uninstalled AVID MC, and did the manual uninstall prodecures as outlined below:

  I’ve tried installing through the AVID disc launcher as well as manually and keep getting the same thing. Is After Effects EMP compatible with CS5.5? Do I need to install MC before the EMP? System Specs are below.

  System:
  Z800 Dual Xeon hexacore WIN7 SP1
  Avid Adrenaline

  We are trying to avoid buying a new I/O card to run after effects on a client monitor through the Adrenaline.

  From doing a little searching this error seems to be more a windows error than an AVID one but I could not find anything directly concerning and AVID install so I figured I’d ask here.
