Avid Adrenaline to Express Pro
I was wondering if I captured on an Adrenaline 2:1 and transfer it to an External firewire drive, can I still edit the 2:1 footage on a Express Pro?? The clips would live on the firewire drive, or would it be better to have it live on my Mac’s internal Memory (ATA)???thanks to all who reply

2;1 resolution is not Xpress Pro compatible ! 1:1 IS
DV50, which is close to 2;1 in terms of quality IS Adrenaline AND Xpress pro compatible !
