I’m still a new user to Avid, just knowing the basics on how to get through and work with the program. I’m currently editing a short indie film and I went to open it up today and the project is completely changed back to the way it was months ago. All the new footage I’ve imported and meticulously organized isn’t there, and some newer projects I’ve brought in and worked on aren’t even there. Is there a way I can restore it to the way it was? I have no idea why this happened, last time I was editing everything was working fine.
Also, if it helps to know this I’m working on an HP Elitebook using a dongle and a Vantec Nexstar external hard drive for storage.

Find the Attic, the last version should be under the date you last worked on the programmes, restore from there.
If that last version is incomplete, try a previous version.
