    Hiya,

Running Media composer 6.5 – exported AAF of edit using mxfs generated in redcinex to resolve 9. Added source .r3d files to media pool.

I did not let resolve auto import source files, and it relinks just fine to .r3d files in media pool. Almost all of the shots are perfect. But a random few – perhaps 20 in the later part of the sequence are incorrect.

It’s odd, the shots are incorrect, and the names of the files in the sequence are also different from the avid cut. It’s as if resolve just substituted a couple of shots randomly. I import the aaf back into avid, and it’s perfect, so I don’t think the aaf is bad.

I’ve done this aaf export from MC 6, and MC 6.5, and I’ve imported it into resolve 8 and resolve 9. The shot swaps are not always the same, but it is consistently mixing up several – maybe 5% of the shots in the sequence.

    Anyone else run into this?

    JP
