    AVI quality

    I capture footage from a Canon XL1 and when I edit the footage in Premiere Pro CS3 and when i view it in Quicktime the footage quality is poor. It has horizontal lines across it. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Robert,

    More info please. Assuming you’ve used the correct Premiere project preset to capture/edit your footage, WHAT are you viewing in Quicktime – have you Exported to a certain file format?

    I was viewing the AVI file in quicktime. I’m pretty sure the capture presets are correct. Can you elaborate on any possible errors I may have made during capture?
