  AVi no audio in Vegas 10 mov studio

  Ive tried several things but can not get my flip avi videos into vegas 10 to edit

  -all worked great in vegas 8 on another machine and vegas 9 in this machine but no i am stuck

  ive d/l and installed the aviplug.dll from more than 1 link and replaced the old file in my system
  — this just give me a blank when i navigate to the folder with the avi files – no files shown – i replaced the old dll file back into folder and am back where i started

  I am running w7 64

  gspot says codec is xvid
  but under container sec pink highlight on “File truncated in the “legacy index” area – 1 bytes are missing

  I get video and audio takes forever to load but doesnt play and hangs the program

  interesting that the Kodak Zi8 files show codec status undetermined? but work fine

  appreciate any help or guidance
