I’ve used FCP to import and transfer AVCHD files from Panasonic cameras before but I’m running into a problem.

I have a client who shot his footage on a Panasonic HDC-TM900. I need to bring the files into FCP but so far I can’t get the program to see the files.

    Any ideas…

    Thanks.

If they shot 1080p60 (or 1080p50 if you are in PAL country), FCP won’t even see the files. That is a non-standard video format. YOu will need to use something like ClipWrap2 to convert the files to ProRes.

If they shot multiple frame rates on one card…FCP won’t see the card either. Or, will have issues dealing with it.
