I have an upcoming project that will be shot on AVCHD and HDV. On FCP I’d transcode both to ProRes, is this necessary with PPro? Even if the AVC is in the 1920 raster?

I don’t have any AVC to test, and will get some before I decide, but be be grateful to hear some views.

    Thanks, Ken.

No problem, you can use both in one timeline.
Use a avchd preset. The hdv footage will automatically adjust itself.
