Hi, I am teaching myself Final Cut Pro 7 – I got through chapter 1 ok. But on chapter 2 I’m stuck – I can’t seem to import the video on my Panasonic Lumix TZ7 – which is AVCHD Lite.
From reading a lot of posts like this, it seems to be possible. But I’m not sure if it is. The files download as .MOV. When I try to log and transfer, those clips are greyed out, so I can’t choose them.
I don’t know if it’s just the settings?
Does anyone have this problem? Or have you managed to ingest AVCHD Lite.
Would welcome any suggestions.

You could try to manually convert the files using https://www.roxio.com/enu/products/toast/titanium/overview.html“>Toast 10 Titanium.
