AVCCAM Import not working
I have some Af100 and GH2 files i am trying to import with no success. I have tried importing from a hard drive and from a SDHC card with no go anyone have any ideas i feel very stupid right now! I have 3 folders for each card private,DCIM and misc

Follow the “import camera files” method. I found this was necessary when bringing in P2 AVC-Intra files from a saved Contents folder. This calls up a Log and Transfer-style window. Files are rewrapped as MOV files when imported.

why import AVCHD?! Its a pig to edit. Ever heard of ProRes?!!! The quality is no less.

Using metadata from AVCHD is one reason to import. Go to ProRes and you loose that. Valid option, but that’s the cost.
