Couldn’t find an answer that made sense so forgive me if this has been covered.

Does AE CS5 handle native AVC-I 100 video from P2 cards?

I am planning to autoduck an FCP sequence over (simple cuts only stuff) to AE CS4 (which won’t work) but hand the project over to someone who has CS5. Will this work? I don’t have CS5 to test it.

    Thanks!

Well, I bit the bullet and downloaded CS5 late last night, installed early this morning along with Autoduck, removed my fancy MXF plugins to make sure my machine would match the machine I am handing it over to and it works. Yay!

    Thanks for the response.

[Dave LaRonde] “‘m interested in how AE would handle a spanned clip”

Probably how MXF4mac in FCP handles it. It’s just another clip. Using P2Flow and FCP, the clip is named as spanned and it easy to pick out the spanned clips. I would imagine that AE handles it the same way. Premiere might be a different story, but it’s not a test day for me.
