I’m brining in footage shot with the HPX-2000 using the AVC-Intra 100M codec. It is all coming in as 1280 x 720. Shouldn’t it be coming in as 1920 x 1080? I looked at the meta-data associated with the MXF file and found that it was shot in AVC-Intra 100M 720p. Should the DP have shot it as 1080p since we want it to be 1920 x 1080?

Sounds like your DP shot it in 720.
If the metadata says 720 that is what it is.

Problem is between eyepiece and back of director of photography’s head.
