AVC Intra and FCP
I’m having issues getting FCP 6 to recognize AVC Intra files. I downloaded and installed the transcoder from Pany, but when I try to log and capture, it doesn’t see the files. They open fine in P2CM, though there is a question mark in the top right of the thumbnail. Anyone else have experience with AVC?

Do you mean log and transfer?
Perhaps it’s not Leopard ready. I use it in TIger with no problems.

Just went to panny site:
It said 10.5.1 is required and:
“* Notice
– When previewing AVC-Intra on MacBookPro,”Limited Preview” is displayed on Log and Transfer window of FinalCutPro and audio is not able to be monitored.” -
I’m on 10.5.1…i’ll give it another whirl

You have the P2 drivers installed too, correct?

I know this is lame and I am totally grasping at straws, but trash your FCP prefs. THen open up log and capture and double check your log and transfer prefs.
This was a fresh install of Leopard and a fresh install of FCP?
You haven’t upgraded to 10.5.2?
