When I’m given AVC video to edit, can someone tell me how to transcode (or whatever voodoo is needed) to get it into Media 100? And… any comment from Media 100 on direct support for this?

    Peter,

I use VoltaicHD from ShedWorx (https://shedworx.com/node/107), but you can drill down into the AVC folder structure and find the video files and use MPEGStreamclip.

    Hope this helps,
    all the best,

    Michael

    Thanks Michael!

Just curious: When you convert the file, do you convert to Media 100 HD, or something else?

Been working in ProRes or ProResHQ, almost exclusively.
