AVC HD best conversion to FCP 7
Hello,
I’m about to edit (in FCP 7) a documentary shooted with SONY HDR- AX2000, which files I’ll have to convert and do an online editing.
Which is the best quality format that I should use to convert the AVC HD files, regarding that this will be an online editing?

Hi Vanessa,
In theory the best codec would be 8b Uncompress, With that you would extract the full quality of your footage (8b YUV).
But due to the big files size on 8b Unc, the most practical solution is Prores.
