Autrotrace problems (Aharons super-tight junk mattes)
I set it up like Aharon says once it is rendering the autotrace layer it stops at 20 frames then freezes. My comp to autotrace is about 4 minutes. Anybody have an idea why it it freezes. I have a good gfx card, 4 gig ram and HD space. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well it got to about 3:15 with about a minute left to go and stopped and said out of memory? What can I do to get around this?

you can try doing this in chunks. Break it up into smaller segments, and then take the all of the matte layers, and put them into their own comp (pre-compose them), then use that comp (which is then a single layer) as the matte layer. You can apply the matter choker to the single nested comp layer.
