    Automator to rename footage

    I’m using clipwrap to get 60p footage into FCP and I want to use Automator to rename the .mov files rather than renaming hundreds of clips myself.

    I tried to do this and selected “files and folders” in the library tab and then “rename finder items” but when I press run, it says, “The action ‘Copy Finder Items’ was not supplied with the required data.” I haven’t really used Automator before.

    Thanks for any tips or help

    Find Name Mangler and use that instead. 🙂
