automating transitions FROM EX1 FILES TO FCP
Is there a way to automate many clips to the timeline with transitions?

Highlight all the clips you want in the Browser, then drag them into the CANVAS window, and choose OVERWRITE WITH TRANSITION. This will add the default transition which is a 1 second dissolve.
