Automating selects with automator.
hi list, I’m trying to automate a task in FCP for making selects from my canvas.
I want to select 4 second clips, lot of them and I would like to do it on the fly, so I was wondering if I can set up an action that would – from the position of the playhead currently, tab arrow back twice and then tab forward four times, which would bring me to two frames past the playhead location. I’d like each 4 second selct to be sent into a sequence and off I owuld go searching for mty next select.
Would anyone know if this is something I can accomplish with automator or is there another way anyone might kno of to accomplish this.
