How can I add multiple in and out points from a spreadsheet to automate multiple edits on one long clip in a sequence?

    Hey Tom,

I would suggest that you convert the spreadsheet to edl, and then import the edl file.
Obviously your spreadsheet needs to be formatted so the converter can read it accurately.

There are plenty of converters around, a quick Google search brought this one in at the top:

Ooh… I like the sound of this. I was thinking of something like old school analog assemble editing. This should do the trick. Thank you. Will try tmrw.

My new question is how do I properly format the spreadsheet so the converter can read it accurately. I only have the in and out points not the rest of the info for the headers: No,Name,Tracks,Timecode In,Timecode Out,Tape,Start,End,Channels,Loc TC,Loc Name,Loc Color.

    hope that makes sense.

Do I need to fill these columns in with “0”s or ? . thanks for any help
