Automatically rendering multiple versions of same comp
I am about to embark on a project to create a series of TV promos which would display the next three or so shows that we will be airing. You’ve probably seen things like this before on TV. However, I’m hoping to automate the whole process, if possible. Thanks to Dan Ebberts’ script, I’m am able to import a list of shows from a text file, so that I can automatically import the names of our series.
Since I will be doing probably 300 of these, I would like to just have one comp, and have the render engine automatically render multiple versions where the time of day has changed, thus displaying a different set of shows. I’d like to avoid making 300 individual comps, if possible.
I may be asking for too much, but I thought the gurus on this forum might have some ideas. Thanks!
