  • Automatically Cut Audio File into Single Word Files?

Posted by Paralee Whitmire on December 5, 2011 at 8:43 pm

I want to record lots of single words into one audio file and have Final Cut detect the in and out of each word and export them into individual files. Is this even possible? Am I using the wrong program?

Also, is there a way to automatically name the files to the word actually pronounced in the audio?

Adobe has something in their labs that can do this but I don’t know that it has made it’s way into premiere yet. Aftereffects can use plug-ins to detect and mark to audio, but not sure again about the voice recognition part.
