Automatically create separate clips from one continuous audio clip?
I was wondering if Premiere Pro (or a plugin) has the ability to automatically create separate clips from a single audio clip based on gaps in the audio — I seem to remember ProTools having this ability, although it’s obviously built singularly for audio editing.
Basically, I received a single voiceover file consisting of multiple takes and am having to create sub-clips from each of the pauses in order to work with the files more efficiently (and match them to circled takes from script notes) — it’s tedious to say the least, and has got me wondering if there is an obvious (and better!) was to do this that has eluded me…
Thank you for any help!
