Tks for your reply. I had a feeling but was not sure ….but with your response. I am fully aware of the same. so Tks a lot. but untill i upgrade my windows …is thr something that i can do to stop lagging in my time line ?
Yes for sure vegas pro 10 is better than pro 9 with .mov files …

You could convert your footage to a digital intermediary like CineForm. That will play back very smoothly.
BTW, this is what a Mac will do if you buy one. Apple was very smart in that regard. They don’t bother to edit all the crazy native formats, and instead they transcode everything to a digital intermediary. That’s why you’ll hear people say that it edits smoother. Buy CineForm Neo Scene for $99USD and you’ll have the same great performance as on a Mac but with a much cheaper PC.
