Automate splitting of layers (based on Guides…or other approach)
Hey guys,
Is there an automated way to split a layer into multiple layers based on the Guides? A script perhaps?
Originally hoping to use Guides as cuts to auto split an image into multiple layers…
Guides to Slices works….but is there a way to do this while staying in the program and simply splitting layers (maintaining their position relative to eachother)? If not, is there a way to re-import the sliced images back into the comp without having to manually re-align the individual pieces to fit together i.e. maintain their original position..
Any other approach?
