Apologies in advance if I should know this one. How do you stop the cursor from auto-limiting to x,y or z plane when you mouse over/move your camera in a 1 plane view, eg. top, left etc.? Its sending me nuts because I have to view at 6.25% or something to see what I’m doing but I can’t grab the camera without getting one of the limited RG or B arrows.

You CAN turn those off, but you’ll be killing ALL layer handles as well if you do. At the top of the comp pane theres a little triangle. Pop it open and select View Option and uncheck Handles.

Experiment with the rest of the checkboxes while you’re in there.

You can zoom the comp view without losing the body of the camera. Use the track Z too in the top view and drag down. You’ll still be able to grab the camera body.
