    Hi Everyone,

I’m working on a series right now and myself and my 2nd have run into a syncing issue. We are using Auto Sync to sync together one video track with guide to an audio multitrack file that has 8 tracks of audio. The syncing itself is fine, but we’re syncing to as many as 5 cameras (which means syncing the same audio file to 5 different video tracks). Each camera is pointed at a different subject, so we want to only hear specific tracks (say, for exampe Track 3 and 6) that pertain to that subject.

How would we go about selecting the specific tracks that we want to hear (and conversely deselecting the tracks that we don’t want to hear), and then when that synced clip is brought into the timeline only the tracks that we have selected appear?

    Thanks!

    Oh, and we’re using MC5.

With v5, AutoSync gives you control of which tracks remain or are removed from the resulting .sync subclip. If you want the audio tracks with the video to remain, then select the keep audio and which tracks. For example. 1-2. Then for the audio file you are syncing to that, select the range you want to keep that pertains to that camera. Unfortunately this does support tracks that skip – for example, you can keep tracks 5-7 but not only 5 and 7.
