Are you saying you can’t see the waveforms on the newly created .sync clips? In the source monitor or record monitor? What version and OS?

Correct. I can’t see the waveform in the newly .sync clip in my Record Monitor. I’m on version 6.5.4.4 and the OS is 10.8.5

Can you see them in the source monitor when switching the timeline view to source monitor and enabling waveforms there? And can you see them on the original source files before syncing them?

I can on both. I exported the AIFF file to a .wav file from iTunes, but that still didn’t help. I’m very confused.

Does the sample rate and bit depth differ from the project setting by chance? It does seem strange that you can see it on the clip before syncing. You might need to clear the waveform cache and see of that clears it up for you after it rebuilds.

In the project folder, there is a folder called WaveformCache. Delete its contents. Relaunch and wait a bit while they rebuild and see if that fixes it.

Right… cached waveforms was part of the 7.x release. I’m stumped at this point.

I feel the same way. Thanks for trying.
