auto start stop detect?
is there a setting to subclip on every start stop – using the data time of day track as many other software packages. cinema tools is unable to reverse telecine longer captures, even with unbroked timecode, i am thinking there are some breaks in the 2:3 pulldown cadence. i looked through preferences and some other settings, but im betting its just hidden away somewhere. thx!

If you go to Help in Final Cut Pro, and you type in stop, the 2nd listing, page 1-7 is DV Start/Stop Detection in the Table of Contents.
