Auto positionning an area of a layer according to a mask
Hi all,
I’m pretty stuck with a feature I’d like to implement in a bunch of comps. I need to create a script for a 2D layer to automatically center and position in a master comp, one layer with a mask applied to it.For instance :
My final is 1920×1080
I drag a layer that is 2500×4000 in this final comp.
I apply to this big layer a mask (whatever shape, but mostly square one), and the script would position this layer so that it is centered in the final comp. For now, I’m doing it manually, but since I got hundreds of comps to deal with, I’ll appreciate some scripting hints here 🙂
