Auto Path saved my life
For the past few years I have been spending so much time with the pen tool. It takes forever to clip products out. I have been working on catalog shots mostly tools and other products. I started to outsource but the bills got too high and sometimes images wouldn’t be ready for 2 days which doesn’t work with the client. Last month I tried the “Auto Path” plugin on the Adobe marketplace and found it to save me so much time clipping. Now I can get my clipping paths done in a literally couple of seconds instead of hours. I found it works most of the time perfectly if you are shooting on a solid background and have great lighting. Sometimes I find I have to adjust only the path in the shadows. Hope this helps other photo editors, it can be found at the Creative Cloud Marketplace, just look up Auto Path, thank me later!

Yeah, I also hated using the pen tool as well! Using the magic wand tool is more quicker as well if you wish to mark drawings to save and ones you wish to erase to put it in a different background as well. But it all depends if the whites does not interfere with the other colors of the image because some black outlines of a white image cannot be grabbed well by the Magic Tool sadly, so auto path should work better in that case. Glad you found a work around this man!
