    Hello everybody,
I have search around the forum but I have found no topic answering my. Please excuse me if this theme is duplicated.
I want to have a quantity of copies of a layer (no echos, layers themselves) depending on the value of a slider. So if the value of the slider is 10, I have 10 copies of a selected layer.
    Is that possible using expresions?

    Best,
    Diego

What use is it to have 10 copies of a media asset sitting on top of the original copy? You’ll at least want to offset them somehow, in space and perhaps time.

Expressions will allow you to offset your layers in space and with precomposing, in time.

But to create duplicates on-the-fly, you will have to look into Javascript.

Javascript and Expressions are best addressed at the COW AE Expressions Forum. Should you post there, do let the folks know how you intend to work with the duplicates. This will likely lead to better solution(s) for you.
