So I was watching Andrew Kramer’s 2nd light streak tutorial and I noticed that when he created a null object position key frame, moved down the timeline and moved the null object, the null objects path was a curve. Now when I try that, my object moves from point to point to point without a curve between them, it moves along angles not along curves. Is there a setting where you can make auto bezier curves when you move an object?

You probably have ‘Default Spatial Interpolation to Linear’ checked in your General Preferences. If you turn this off then your position/anchor point keyframes will default to auto-bezier.

I personally don’t like to default to auto-bezier as it often times makes decisions for me that I don’t like. I like to edit the motion path with the pen tool. It works just like masks.
