Auto add preset name to file name?
Is it posible to setup Media Encoder to add the name of the encoding preset (or part of it) to the filename that it outputs?
For example I have been working on a sequence called “Showreel” and I want to encode multiple version of the same sequence using presets. Ideally I would add it to the queue, add one preset, and set the destination. Then I could add other presets that encode to the same folder but with different prefixes so I end up with something like:
showreel_ProRes.mov
showreel_iTunes.mp4
showreel_Vimeo.mp4
showreel_YouTube.mp4At the moment I have to manually add the name of the preset myself.
