  audio window doesn’t display volume

  media 100 xri 8.2 G-4 dual 1.44

  I just imported some music from a CD and opened a bin of music. I put them on the timeline for A-1 & A-2 and turned on the show audio waveform. When I hit play by hitting the spacebar the music plays through the speakers. But, It doesn’t show levels in the Audio Window. No green, yellow, or red bars to help me adjust the volume so I don’t have clipping.

  I opened up another program I had already done, and same thing. No audio levels showing.

  How can I re-set or turn it on?
