Audio waveform problems using only one camera
im on an iMac i7 processor. El Capitan. It seems to be happening with only one camera. Which makes no sense cause it used to always work before until I updated to premiere pro cc 2017. It’s a canon xa10. Avchd footage. No audio waveform is generated. However footage shot on my canon xa25 is fine and that’s in avchd.
Anyone else having this problem?
I tried reimporting the clip but that doesn’t fix it

Still can’t get this to work.
I deleted the cache files and reimported the footage. Still no waveform peak file gets generated.

Do you import the footage by drag-and-drop or do you use the Media Browser? Using the Media Browser helps Premiere to interpret the video and audio better, especially with AVCHD files.
