I have finished multiple compositions in After Effects which all use parts of a 2.88gb AVI source file. This file was imported via a Premiere Pro sequence. All was fine but today I went to open up the original Premiere project when it asked to relocate this file which I browsed for and did. When it appears in the project only half of the audio has been imported. When I go back to my after effects project half the audio is missing as well. I have been saving as I have been going along under different project names but they all have the same problem with half the audio, waveform etc missing. The audio plays fine out side of adobe and it played fine in after effects until I rellocated the file. The audio has been edited and rearanged(with video) quite a bit so to start again would mean loosing a lot of time. Any help would be appreciated.

I have browsed Premiere’s posts but have not found any answers. When I reload or replace footage(in after effects) only half the audio is imported even though it is all present when I play the AVI file on an external media player. I thought this might have been a memory issue but I have 3gb avalible for AE to use and this still wouldn’t explain why it was there before aswell multiple files were saved with it there and now it is gone. It is on my c: drive.
