Audio & Video filters not working in a new sequence in FCP7
I’ve been cutting a project, with multiple 3 minute episodes for the past few weeks, and now I’ve been asked to make a highlights edit from the finished graded cuts.
In a new sequence, I copy and paste graded selects, and audio with applied filters into the new sequence, but none of the filters or effects have any effect in the new fresh sequence. Colour correction sliders don’t change anything, audio gain filters and effects don’t do anything, yet they still work in the other sequences 100%.
In fact, cutting and pasting the graded clips back into an old sequence lets them work fine.
This is bizarre. I’ve tried deleting render files, and removing the fcp preferences.
And yes… I know I shouldn’t even be editing on dusty old fcp 7 anymore 😉
Help would be appreciated, as I’ve never seen this before!

maybe filters have been disabled in that new sequence’s settings (and in your user prefs)
