audio tracks volume not balanced on export premier cs5
I have a Premier CS5 project that has a couple different tracks of narration. The audio sounds level when editing on my desktop speakers, but when I burn to dvd, one of the tracks that I recorded later will not get as loud as the other tracks. I have tried to fix it a number of ways – adjusting with the audio mixer, changing the db, raising the volume line. Even exported out to soundbooth. I’ve even turned it up twice as loud as the other track and it still doesnt come out loud enough when I burn to dvd. What am I missing???
I am exporting with adobe dynamic link to encore.

Are you sure that the audio is coming through both speakers? A Stereo Clip will only have a dedicated L or R output unless you add the Fill Left or Right audio effect to duplicate the channel that has the audio in it.
This type of situation would result in the audio not sounding loud enough as other clips running as mono or out both speakers would have more “volume” as it is being projected out of two places and not just one.

Yeah – this is really weird – I even put the tracks out to soundbooth and normalized it and when watched on my laptop and desktop it sounded ok. BUT when I played on my DVD player I could hardly hear it! Is there something in my export settings?
