Audio track on AVI file is skipping in Premiere and AE. (SOLVED)
I’ve got a 3 minute video clip I’m working with that is skipping in it’s audio track when it is applied to the timeline in either Premiere or AE. They are both skipping at the same spots.
In case it matters, I’m using Premiere 6.0.0 and After Effects Version 11.0.0.378
Though the clip plays perfectly in Window’s Media and with QuickTime, I’ll assume that there is something wrong with the clip considering it came from an old Cannon PowerShot (not really intended for video).
Is there a quick easy way to fix this?

Never mind. I keep forgetting I’ve also got Adobe Audition. I was able to save the audio as a separate WAV file and reintegrate it with the original video (sans bad audio).
Thanks to Angelo for his suggestion, even if it ended up being unnecessary.

Use ffmpeg to extract the audio, something like
ffmpeg.exe -i yourvideo.avi -vn -acodec copy youraudio.wav
Just to see if it being in the AVI container is messing up Premiere and AE.
