I messed up on a complicated shoot and ended up mixing two lavs into one mono track such that when listening to the audio in A1, one speaker’s voice is in the left headphone and the other is in the right. Is there a way to break the mono mix back into two component tracks in Premiere Pro CC? If not, where is the setting to center the mono mix?

Any help is appreciated, even if you direct me to another post with the same issue on Creative Cow. Thanks!

    Hi Scott,

You can select all your tracks in the project panel, choose Modify > Audio channels and set them to mono.

Alternatively, you can use the full left / fill right effect on your clips (fill left meaning that it sends the left channel equally to the right)
