  Audio Sync problems?

  I’m having some bad audio sync issues. The project was shot on a panasonic varicam at 24 fps. I have tried capturing with the kona 720/23.98 dvcprohd setting and audio seems to be off quite a bit, more than just a few frames. When I capture at the kona 720/59.94 dvcprohd setting audio seems to be off by about 4-6 frames. I have been capturing 30 min clips, I’m not sure if that makes a difference. What is the best setting for capturing varicam footage at 24 fps. How do I make sure the non- flagged frames are discarded? Thanks.
