Audio sync problems exporting to .mov with only one sequence
I have a project that is HDV 1080i60. There are multiple sequences. All sequences are exporting without any sync problems besides footage of one person. Any sequence that I open and use this person’s interview footage in, there are problems.
I export as a .mov. Compression is H.264, frame rate 29.97. Dimension is 640×360.
When I click, File, Export, Using Quick Time Conversion, the marker in the problem sequence automatically moves farther down the timeline and once exported the .mov audio and video do not match. I trashed my preferences but the problem is still there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea why this is happening. However, try Export to self-contained, Current Settings (do NOT recompress frames) – do not use QT Conversion. Open the file in QT to check sync. If it’s good, import that file into Compressor and make your H.264 file. If sync isn’t good, hopefully someone else will have another idea.

Your suggestion worked, thank you so much! I exported as self-contained movie and there were no sync problems. I then just exported in quicktime as a .mov with the proper settings.Thanks again,
